A Month That Flew By

Eid Mubarak, dear friends! Didn't it feel like the whole month of Ramadan passed by in a flash? I love Ramadan and use it as a spiritual getaway, a month-long vacation from some of the worldly pursuits that typically occupy my time, including my passions and projects. This year, I found it somewhat challenging to keep my mind off certain commitments, particularly this newsletter. Having just launched it in January 2025, I felt like I was abandoning a significant passion project far too early. Yet, I wouldn't change my approach, as I firmly believe that waiting for the "perfect moment" without taking necessary action is counterproductive. The mindset of waiting for the right time almost always results in never doing anything because the perfect moment never arrives.

Rediscovering Your True Desires

Now that we're settling back into our daily routines, when was the last time you asked yourself what you truly want? What do you hope to achieve in life? If you could have anything in this world, what would it be?

I recently posed these questions to a friend who replied, "I just want to work 9-5, have a normal office job, come home, sleep, eat, and repeat." That's perfectly fine for some, but it's not who I am. I harbor big dreams and ambitious aspirations, and I want to empower others who share similar goals. If you find yourself limiting your reach, perhaps you simply need some help. Let me support you with weekly nuggets of inspiration.

My Ramadan Journey: Spirituality Meets Ambition

For Ramadan this year, I joined a program called "Raise Your Dua Challenge 2025," which guided me to "Visionaire Ramadan 2025." Both programs were exceptional and offered a refreshing perspective. I deeply appreciate the blend of spirituality and passion they provided. Too often, we see religious individuals solely focused on prayer and Khutba’s, or people exclusively dedicated to careers, businesses, and worldly gains. The harmonious integration of both realms is the balance I've been seeking.

Visionaire Ramadan equipped me with an action plan centered around seven dream duas, seven things I deeply desire and am passionate about. (The program typically focuses on six dream duas, but I am a bit extra!) This process led me down a path of self-reflection about everything I've accomplished in my life, who I am as a person, my personality traits, childlike dreaming, and strengthened Tawakkul (trust in Allah). I no longer want to conceal my true self. I believe I've hidden my authentic personality so effectively that no one truly knows me, until I started this newsletter.

Embracing Connection and Authenticity

Once again, Eid Mubarak, dear friends. I promise to enrich your lives with the beautiful discoveries I make throughout my journey.
